Browsing through the photo archives, I came across this lesson on Paleolithic Cave Paintings from 2018.

Under the table, guided by candle light, we looked at cave paintings in Lascaux cave of France.

We talked about the megafauna and discussed what life could have been like then.

and finally, we made some art using some primitive raw materials such as ochre and charcoal.

It was good fun!

Marina Bay Cruise

The inaugural Art Boat cruise set sail on 23 December 2023. Participants marveled at iconic landmarks in the middle of Marina Bay in our privately chartered boat and sketched what they saw. It was a relaxing day for families that participated. We even got up-close to the mouth of the Merlion and got an unobstructed view of it from the front.

Younger ones tagged along to soak in the sights and sounds. Beside plein-air drawing, participants also went on an art trail and made solar prints made from leaves they found.

Singapore’s first Kombucha specialty store, Chateux Brews kombucha for the discerning.

Flying Colors was a special studio project for Teacher’s Day, celebrating the inedible role of educators.

Students created artworks for this collaboration during their lessons between 11 and 17 July 2023.

After careful deliberation, our judging panel shortlisted 3 top winners, and an additional 3 more in a bonus round. These works were turned into a limited-edition series by Chåteaux for production.

Students were also awarded with a certificate of achievement and received an exclusive set of artisanal kombucha.

A portion of proceeds from the sales in the series were also donated to Dementia Singapore as an initiative that underscores art’s potential in making positive impact.

CREATIVE CYCLE 2023

The exhibition takes us to the future of cycling through the lens of artists from Show & Tell Studios. The artworks represented a vision of what cycling and bicycles of the future could become, harnessing the power of boundless imagination.

On top of the showcase, participants also brought home a commemorative mug customised with their artworks. A charity drive was also organised in support of Cycling Without Age Singapore.

Visitors to the exhibition also submitted their own visions of creative bicycles and won awesome prizes.
